This blog is solely for posting my stories on. The longer writing was encumbering the other blog so I created this one. I will post links on Ilyarynburg when I upload a story. If you have comments on what you have read I would appreciate it if you left them on the corresponding post on Ilyarynburg, because I'll be more likely to see them there. Thank you for coming to Lockspring and I hope you enjoy what you read.

Rooks of Burgundy

In 1016 the war for the Duchy of Burgundy has just ended, leaving the land in anarchy. Yet the serfs and peasants carry on with their lives, under constant abuse of the unrestrained bandit groups as well as the lawless knights. Raban is just such a serf who loathes the battle vassals with the most adamant. When he kills a knight in defense during a hastilude (mock battle), he knows he is condemned and flees. As he tries to carve a place for himself in the stone of an unjust society, his greatest struggle is against becoming what he abhors the most.

Status-complete outline finished, first draft approx. half done.

Progress-Rapid, full attention focused.
